Julia A. Etedi
Julia A. Etedi's work pictorially translates the invisible movements of nature, reflecting her desire to illuminate the intangible. Inspired by scientific research that makes these movements perceptible, she seeks to enrich our experience and understanding of the world.
Her works evoke cartographies of vibratory landscapes, dazzling and volatile imprints, where each line and each trace tell a path taken, a story. Inspired by the seasons and natural cyclical rhythms, the artist positions herself as a witness collecting fragments of these variations to preserve their memory.
For the exhibition “Tangible Materials & Invisible Stories”, Julia A. Etedi presents a set of nine paintings entitled “Celestial Fragments”, recounting her nine months of pregnancy.
